Overview
The Targeted Protein Degradation (TPD) Proteomics Core within the Fischer Lab at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute serves as a resource for the Cancer Biology Department, aiding investigators in answering key research questions using mass spectrometry-based proteomics. We employ quantitative chemoproteomic and interactomic approaches to identify drug targets and are continuing to expand our repertoire to meet the needs of our core users. Our core is equipped with extensive mass spectrometry equipment including timsTOF HT, timsTOF Ultra2 and Orbitrap Eclipse tribrid mass spectrometers.
The TPD Proteomics Core seeks a highly motivated individual to join the team as a at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is seeking an experienced RESEARCH TECHNICIAN, who will employ mass spectrometry-based technologies to assess the cellular proteome in response to external stimuli. This individual will be an important member of our core team and will work with technicians, scientists, postdocs and students on a variety of different research projects focused on targeted protein degradation as a novel therapeutic modality.

The hiring range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries determined by factors such as business needs, market conditions, internal equity, and based on the candidate’s relevant experience, skills and qualifications.
For union positions, the pay range is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)
