Overview
The Assistant Director manages the overall recruitment, outreach, stewardship and cultivation for corporate teams participating in the Jimmy Fund Walk and other Peer-to-Peer programs. The Assistant Director will develop a plan to recruit, cultivate, retain, and recognize new corporate teams, and assist with Jimmy Fund Walk sponsorship as needed. The Assistant Director will also work with a portfolio of Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge runners. Responsible for assisting the entire Division with reaching financial goals. Reports to Assistant Vice President of Peer-to-Peer Fundraising. Full title: Assistant Director, Corporate Initiatives, Peer-to-Peer Fundraising; Internal title: Assistant Director, Jimmy Fund.
This position is considered remote, 0-1 days onsite at 10 Brookline Place, Brookline, MA each week. DFCI guidelines state that employees must reside in New England: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, or Vermont.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required plus 4+ years of relevant work experience. Professional fundraising, sales, special events or donor relations experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills. Possess the ability to work well with all DFCI departments and donor constituencies of all levels, juggle multiple projects, and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Reliance on excel, so possess high level of competence in Microsoft Office Suite, including, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Pay Transparency Statement
The hiring range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries determined by factors such as business needs, market conditions, internal equity, and based on the candidate’s relevant experience, skills and qualifications.
For union positions, the pay range is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)
Salary: $98,190.00
