The Digital Project Manager / Business Analyst helps deliver new features and enhancements to various public-facing web properties. Supporting the Product Owner and Digital Communications team, the role is responsible for collecting and analyzing requirements, maintaining reports, managing scope vs budget, and communicating the status of deliverables.

The Digital Project Manager/Business Analyst for Digital Communications is part of a diverse team of content producers, editors, digital analysts, and web developers who are responsible for the production, expansion, and maintenance of multiple web properties.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the redesign and content migration process for the dana-farber.org website
  • Serve as the primary person to communicate with and when needed, bring together all internal and external stakeholders. Internal stakeholders include digital editorial team; digital web development team; other teams within Communications; Dana-Farber leadership and selected staff. External stakeholders include vendors and agencies involved with the redesign and CMS migration, as well as patients, caregivers, and others
  • Work closely with business partners to elicit requirements, document process flows, identify risks and mitigation, and participate in definition of strategies for the technical solution
  • Work with Developers to ensure that acceptance criteria are understood and applied
  • Coordinate and track resources across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Manage work tasks for both the technical and web editorial/content teams vis-à-vis stakeholder’ requirements and expectations
  • Track, manage, and communicate key issues and risks with transparency
  • Create planning matrices for different phases of the redesign project from discovery through launch
  • Work with vendors to organize and facilitate stakeholder interviews and focus groups
  • Provide regular written status reports to project team and other stakeholders
  • Track timeline of redesign project and budget burn
  • Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments
  • Aid product owner in creating and maintaining the product backlog
  • Assist Scrum Master with KPIs such as velocity/burn-down charts for scrum team to promote continuous improvement

Qualifications

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
  • 7 years of experience as Project Manager required
  • Experience as a Technical Business Analyst required

PREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification / Lean Six Sigma Certification
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
  • Experience in Agile methodology
  • Experience with JIRA as an Administrator
  • Basic understanding of digital analytics and web development
  • Previous experience working at or in healthcare environments
  • Previous experience project managing a major website redesign/CMS migration

  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders that may include cancer clinicians, leaders, researchers, staff, patients, caregivers, and others
  • Ability to communicate and work with Developers to ensure that acceptance criteria is understood and applied
  • Ability to simplify, document and communicate complex workflows
  • An intellectual curiosity for learning new skills and modeling a culture of continuous learning, mentoring and coaching
  • JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams skills
