The creation of the Friends Place (formerly Friends Boutique) came from a conviction that in addition to expert medical care, people with cancer benefit from psychological and educational services to help manage the ways it affects an individual's quality of life.
The Practice Coordinator greets patients, families and visitors promptly in a welcoming and courteous manner. This position is responsbile for maintaining the sales floor for cleanliness and safety, per Dana-Farber Cancer Institute Policy and Procedure.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Notifies appropriate personnel of equipment, supplies, or patient care areas that require cleaning or repairs
Processes sales transactions accurately and efficiently according to established policy and procedure using a Point-of-Sale (POS) system, including handling cash
