The Longwood Center and Core for Structural & Chemical Biology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, directed by Sirano Dhe-Paganon, is seeking research technicians to join multi-disciplinary research teams that pursue molecular mechanism and drug discovery projects. General activities include designing & executing experiments and analyzing & interpreting results. Primary responsibilities include performing recombinant protein expressions and purifications and/or invitro biophysical, biochemical, and crystallization assays and screens. Technicians attend departmental seminars, work closely with other scientists in the lab, are included as author on relevant publications, and often pursue graduate school, medical school, or biotech industry.

Execute recombinant protein purifications and/or biochemical, biophysical, and crystallographic assays and screens. Develop research methods, maintain lab notebooks, and report & publish research data and results.
