Overview
The Supply Chain Analyst will provide analytical support to the procurement organization to achieve institute goals and objectives. Reporting directly to the Director Supply Chain Systems, Analytics, Reporting, Communications within DFCI Supply Chain, this role will develop an extensive understanding of DFCI’s procurement systems, data, and processes. The role will also work closely with senior team members to provide actionable insights to the procurement organization and other key stakeholders. They will work with a variety of tools (ex: SQL, Excel, Tableau, etc.) to access data, write queries, develop programming logic, run reports, manipulate data, and analyze datasets to meet the needs of institute. The position requires excellent attention to detail, in-depth understanding of the delivery process and exceptional analytics skills. They use interpersonal and problem-solving skills to gather information from different sources to recommend ways of improving the supply chain, identifying sourcing opportunities, identifying operational improvements, and tracking value delivery.
