Administrative
The administrative and operational team makes an impact on patients by supporting the programs and services in Nursing and Patient Care Services. 
Adult Oncology Nursing 
Dana-Farber Staff Infusion Nurses provide specialized oncology nursing care for a complex adult patient population. The infusion nurse provides patient and family education and psychosocial and emotional support. The Infusion RN is a member of a multidisciplinary care team that requires effective communication and collaboration with co-workers and staff at the Institute, and other collaborating institutions and agencies.   
Clinical Assistants
Our Clinical Assistants are an integral part of interdisciplinary teams who provide direct care to patients and contribute to efficient operations in the patient care environment. Clinical Assistants at Dana-Farber have opportunities for mentorship and professional growth. 
Infection Control
The Nurse Epidemiologist coordinates all aspects of the Infection Control Program at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) and the Dana Farber/Brigham & Women's Cancer Center (DFBWCC) to reduce the risks of acquiring and transmitting infections among patients, staff, and visitors. The scope of practice includes meeting the infection control needs of pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
Inpatient Adult Nursing
Dana-Farber Inpatient Nurses provide specialized oncology nursing care for a complex adult patient population at the Dana-Farber Inpatient Hospital, located within Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Nurse Educators and Leaders 
Dana-Farber Nurse Educators & Leaders provide clinical leadership, education, management, and mentorship for clinical staff to nurture leadership potential and to promote professional development. Nurse Educators & Leaders demonstrate critical thinking, commitment to diversity, collaboration, clinical judgment, clinical inquiry, facilitation of learning and advocacy for patients and staff  
Nurse Practitioners   
The Nurse Practitioners (NP) in our Adult and Pediatric clinics are advanced practice nurses who demonstrate specialized clinical expertise and leadership skills within an interdisciplinary care team. 
Nurse Scientists 
Nurse Scientists in The Phyllis F. Cantor Center for Research in Nursing and Patient Care Services conducts and promotes research focused on the patient/family experience of living with and beyond cancer, with an emphasis on symptoms, interventions, and outcomes.   
Occupational Health 
The Dana-Farber Occupational Health Services (OHS) nursing team provides specialized care that focuses on the health, safety, and productivity of our work force members in a safe working environment
Oncology Nurse Navigators 
The Oncology Nurse Navigator (ONN) in our Adult and Pediatric clinics use their oncology-specific clinical knowledge to offer individualized guidance and advocacy to patients, families, and caregivers to foster independence during their complex cancer journey.  The ONN also provides education, training, and support through symptom management.  
Patient Care Services 
Nursing and Patient Care Services believes in supporting the whole patient through our Center for Spiritual Care, interpreting services to patients and families with limited or no English proficiency through Interpreter Services, and through our Patient and Family Programs and Services who serve patients and their families by providing programs, resources, information, and services that complement clinical care. 
Pediatric Oncology Nursing 
Pediatric Oncology Nurses in the Jimmy Fund Clinic provide specialized oncology nursing care through patient and family education and psychosocial and emotional support as they serve our youngest patients. The Pediatric Nurse serves as a member of a multidisciplinary care team that requires effective communication and collaboration with co-workers and staff at the Institute along with top ranked Dana-Farber/Boston Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Center.  
Radiation Oncology/Imaging Nursing    
The Radiation Oncology and Imaging Nurses provide assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care for a complex patient population. The staff nurse provides patient and family education and psychosocial and emotional support. These nurses are a member of a multidisciplinary care team that requires effective communication and collaboration with co-workers and staff at Dana-Farber, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and other collaborating institutions and agencies.
Research Nursing    
The Clinical Research Nurse (CRN) utilizes expert knowledge of cancer as a disease process and cancer treatment modalities, while also conducting clinical research and providing hands-on care to the patient in both our adult and pediatric clinics.   
Venous Access Nursing  
Venous Access Nurses provide vein assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care for a complex patient population. The Venous Access Nurse provides patient and family education and psychosocial and emotional support. Venous Access Nurses are members of a multidisciplinary care team that requires effective communication and collaboration with co-workers and staff at Dana-Farber, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and other collaborating institutions and agencies.
