Overview
The Executive Assistant provides administrative support for the Senior Vice President (SVP) and Chief Philanthropy Officer and the Deputy Chief Philanthropy Officer (DCPO) of the Division of Philanthropy. Reporting to the Senior Administrative Director of the Office of the Senior Vice President, you will handle details of a highly confidential and critical nature and must function efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced professional environment. You will serve as the primary liaison between internal and external constituents and the Office of the SVP. This dynamic position requires the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions to problems with high professionalism and confidentiality. Key responsibilities include sophisticated calendar management including prioritization of inquiries and requests, support Division-wide events and meetings, meeting preparation, monitoring, drafting and sending communications and correspondence, preparing presentations, creating and distributing trainings and resources, managing expenses, as well as supporting projects and initiatives. As a member of the Division of Philanthropy, this role will assist the entire Division to reach its financial goals.

The onboarding of this role will include a comprehensive training process which includes completion of online modules, shadowing colleagues, as well as hands-on learning experiences throughout the first calendar year in the role.

This position is considered partial onsite, 2-3 days in the office at 10 Brookline Place, Brookline, MA each week. DFCI guidelines state that employees must reside in New England: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, or Vermont.

Responsibilities
Under minimal supervision will perform the following:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No direct reports, may provide mentorship, supervision, or management to junior administrative staff.
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum Experience:
7 years of administrative experience of which 2 years must be in an Executive Assistant role.
