Overview

The Compliance Data Analyst will support the Office of Compliance with various aspects of an effective compliance program. The analyst will also learn about compliance operations and the role of corporate compliance in health care. This role works in close coordination with members of the Office of Compliance including the Chief Compliance Officer. This individual will assist the Compliance Department in ensuring the Institute’s compliance with applicable federal and state laws.

Responsibilities

  • Document inquiries and investigations in compliance issues database.
  • Identify root causes of issues, assess trends, and recommend operational and policy/procedural changes.
  • Monitor and resolve/investigate all assigned inquiries/investigations.
  • Perform data entry activities and analysis on assigned compliance tasks and assignments.
  • Assist in conducting investigations and programmatic activities, including data management.
  • Assist applicable Compliance staff in performing audit and monitoring activities for identified risk areas.
  • Organize and maintain complete, accurate and appropriate compliance program records.
  • Work to achieve compliance program and workplan goals.
  • Assist with planned and unplanned compliance and privacy projects.
  • Respond to requests for information regarding compliance and privacy policies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Graduate or advanced degree preferred.
  • 1 year of relevant experience in a Compliance department, hospital/academic medical center, health care, scientific, legal department or related field required.
  • Experience in an office setting supporting high volume, multi-functional individuals, and a fast-paced department preferred.

  • Demonstrate discretion, diplomacy, and good judgment. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and other computer applications.
