Overview
The Associate Science Writer is responsible for creating and editing research-focused content for various Dana-Farber platforms, including publications, blogs, and social media. This role also involves collaborating with the video team to produce multimedia content, supporting Executive Communications, and developing press releases and story ideas related to scientific research. The position requires strong narrative writing skills, the ability to translate complex scientific concepts for lay audiences, and proficiency in editing. Building relationships with senior scientists and maintaining a network of contacts within the Institute are essential for staying informed about the latest research developments. Familiarity with marketing communications and the ability to handle text-clearing processes diplomatically are also important.

This position's work location is fully remote with occasional time on-campus in Boston, MA. The selected candidate may only work remotely from a New England state (ME, VT, NH, MA, CT, RI).
