The Medical Technologist III is responsible for following procedures and performing tests on body fluids using automated analyzers and manual test procedures under minimal supervision, in accordance with laboratory procedures. The Medical Technologist III is responsible for adherence to the laboratory quality control policies and procedures to ensure reporting of accurate and timely test results. The Medical Technologist III will assist in the training of new personnel and carry out special assignments/projects for the department. In addition, the Medical Technologist III will assist with correlation studies, assessment of new instruments and materials.
“This position is 100% On Site.” The shedule for this position is (8:00 am – 4:30 pm M-F) The weekend requirement will be 1 out of 6 weekends, with an additional on call for 1 out of 6 weekends. We are closed on all major Holidays.

Responsibilities
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
AS, MLT (ASCP), BS, MT (ASCP) or nationally recognized equivalent preferred; degree must be in a clinical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science.
Minimum Experience:
5 years of clinical lab experience in chemistry and/or hematology required.
License/Certification/Registration:
ASCP or equivalent (AMT, NCA) preferred.
