Overview
The lab of Dr. Laurie Glimcher is a well-known group that has made groundbreaking research discoveries in Immunology. Current research interests include ovarian cancer immunotherapy, CAR-NK cell therapy, etc. The person in this role will help with day-to-day experiments, including but not limited to mouse work, tissue culture, flow cytometry, and various other molecular techniques. In general, they will assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment, monitoring experiments, making observations, and calculating and recording results, as well as, general lab upkeep.
A strong candidate for this position can be proficient with live mouse handling (i.e., IP injections) and/or primary cell transduction, and plan to commit for 1~2 years.
