Duties include regular and consistent billing or follow-up work on outstanding third-party claims, denial management, verification of accurate reimbursement, and correction and/or reprocessing of claims as necessary.

Reimbursement Specialist Team members in these medical billing and coding jobs process adjustments for claims to include contractuals and other adjustments as needed for completion of account activity.

Coder/HIS – Team members in these medical billing and coding jobs translate and diagnoses reports and procedures into ICD 10 or CPT codes according to JCAHO and Institute specifications.
