Overview

The Web Manager, Integrated Philanthropy Marketing builds fundraising websites and works on special projects as assigned for the Division of Philanthropy. This position reports to the Senior Assistant Director, Web Marketing, Integrated Philanthropy Marketing and carries a portfolio of fundraising programs, consulting with internal teams on website marketing strategies to help reach and exceed fundraising, participation, and philanthropic goals. This position's work location is fully remote with occasional time on-campus in Brookline, MA. The selected candidate may only work remotely from a New England state (ME, VT, NH, MA, CT, RI).

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and maintain a portfolio of fundraising programs for the Division of Philanthropy. Responsibilities include:
    • Advising on and implementing responsive web strategies, including front-end web development and updating website and web form content to ensure optimal user experience and conversion optimization.
    • Advising on strategies and content layout optimizations for marketing landing pages as needed. Developing landing pages in support of other digital marketing channels.
    • Advising on and implementing content and UX optimizations for web forms as needed.
    • Developing online surveys as needed.
  • Uphold brand guidelines, accessibility strategies, and content standards set for the Jimmy Fund.
  • Stay up-to-date with and advocate for web marketing best practices and industry standards. Help educate Division of Philanthropy on best practices and standards.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 3-5 years’ experience developing and implementing successful web strategies.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Microsoft Office, content management systems, and marketing platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet all deadlines, and provide quality client service.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Excellent coding skills with a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of website development and production, including experience with front-end web development and web content management systems.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, including knowledge of web metrics and reporting tools.
  • Experience with or knowledge of CMS software. Blackbaud Luminate Online, Wordpress, and Acquia/Drupal are preferred.
