Overview

The Manager of Enterprise Technology Adoption leads the strategy and execution of user adoption initiatives for enterprise platforms Workday and UKG. This role develops adoption roadmaps, coordinates cross-functional initiatives, and ensures the organization is prepared for system releases and ongoing changes. The manager partners with enterprise learning and functional teams to define enablement strategies, identify user readiness needs, and ensure the development and delivery of role-based learning resources that support successful adoption. The manager monitors adoption metrics and KPIs, analyzes feedback, and implements strategies to optimize platform utilization and business impact. Additionally, they establish and manage an adoption operating model, including governance, champion networks, and continuous improvement processes, to sustain long-term organizational success.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the enterprise technology adoption strategy and roadmap: Develop and execute a multi-year adoption strategy that aligns with product direction, business priorities, and platform enhancements. Establish a scalable operating model to prioritize adoption efforts and coordinate readiness activities across teams. Continuously refine the strategy using user insights, analytics, and stakeholder feedback to increase business value.
  • Drive release readiness and enablement for enterprise applications: Partner with Product, Release Management, Change Management, Learning, and Communications teams to prepare the organization for new releases and enhancements. Translate system changes into clear user readiness plans, communications, and adoption campaigns. Ensure learning, support resources, and business preparedness are aligned for successful rollout.
  • Own user readiness and scalable enablement programs: Define and lead enterprise user readiness strategies across the full application lifecycle. Collaborate with Learning teams and subject matter experts to deliver role-based training, knowledge content, digital guidance, and self-service support. Leverage platforms such as Workday Learning, Whatfix, and other digital adoption tools to provide effective in-application enablement.
  • Partner cross-functionally to improve adoption and user experience: Work closely with product owners, business leaders, and key stakeholders to identify adoption opportunities, user pain points, and workflow improvements. Lead cross-functional initiatives that increase utilization, improve the employee experience, and maximize platform value. Bring together product, business, technical, learning, communications, and support teams around a unified adoption approach.
  • Measure adoption effectiveness and inform improvement priorities: Define and monitor adoption metrics, KPIs, engagement levels, and platform utilization to assess program success and business outcomes. Analyze usage trends, user behavior, and feedback to identify barriers to adoption and opportunities for optimization. Provide insights and recommendations that help prioritize improvements and increase overall platform effectiveness.
  • Champion continuous improvement, governance, and adoption best practices: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating user experiences and advocating for enhancements that simplify work and improve efficiency. Establish governance practices, champion networks, and stakeholder engagement models that strengthen adoption across the organization. Drive ongoing collaboration to embed best practices and sustain long-term value from enterprise technology investments.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency in applying change management frameworks and adoption methodologies (e.g., Prosci ADKAR, CCMP)
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic roadmaps for system adoption and user engagement
  • Strong capability in stakeholder management and collaboration across business, product, and technical teams
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and to influence across technical and business teams
  • Strong analytical ability in data analysis, reporting, and performance measurement of adoption metrics and KPIs
  • Proficiency in operational management of adoption programs, including governance, champion networks, and feedback mechanisms
  • Familiarity with digital adoption tools and frameworks. 

Minimum Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Learning & Development or a related field required. 5 years of experience supporting enterprise training, technology adoption, change management, or enablement initiatives required. Experience defining user readiness and enablement strategies, partnering with learning and functional teams to support the development of effective learning and performance support resources required. Experience supporting adoption for enterprise SaaS platforms such as HRIS, ERP, or workforce management systems (e.g., Workday, UKG, or similar platforms) preferred. Experience with Digital Adoption Platforms, preferably Whatfix preferred. Experience using analytics, dashboards, or reporting tools to measure and improve user engagement with enterprise systems preferred.

Pay Transparency Statement

The hiring range is based on market pay structures, with individual salaries determined by factors such as business needs, market conditions, internal equity, and based on the candidate’s relevant experience, skills and qualifications.

For union positions, the pay range is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
